The Scariest Clowns on the Planet
Many people including kids don’t find clowns to be funny. All that makeup and the red nose can scare the heck out of the bravest ones. The way many of them giggle can be seen as a laugh of a physically unstable person. There is simply something evil or maybe even tragically funny in the way clowns represent themselves to the world. These clowns are no different; they will make you cry much sooner than you start laughing hysterically. If you see one of these clowns you may have nightmares for a pretty long time.
1. Pennywise
I saw the movie featuring this clown when I was a kid, since then I am traumatized when it comes to seeing clowns. The character of this clown was originally created in a book by Stephen King entitled it. It stalks children coming out of drain pipes and sinks. Every thirty years, It comes back to life to terrorize and destroy. I wouldn’t like to be in the place of the kids who get haunted and traumatized by this evil clown. I’ll have troubles falling asleep after writing this article and will probably check under my bed for scary sharp-teeth clowns.
2. Pogo
What a cute name for a murderous clown. However, John Wayne Gacy, Jr. was a serial killer also known as the Killer Clown. He killed 33 teenage boys and young men. He got his nickname because he used to dress as Pogo the Clown and entertained kids at birthday parties and other events of such kind. He painted himself to look as a clown, and decided to draw the edges of his mout with sharp edges so not to scare the children. He was executed in May 10, 1994.
3. The Joker
The famous wicked character from the Batman stories was portrayed as a violent psychopath and sometimes as a goofy trickster-thief. He fell into a chemical waste which bleached his skin, turned his hair green, and made his lips bright red. Many consider that Heath Ledger’s performance as the Joker had a great impact on him and that that role heavy role destroyed him. Those assumptions only prove that an actor shouldn’t really put his heart or soul into it or he might lose them.
4. Doink
Back in the 1990s Doink was known as a bad clown who popped children’s balloons with a cigar, splashed water on the audience, and used a fake prosthetic arm to attack opponents. This naughty clown featured in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) and even had his own scary theme song Entrance of the Gladiators. Thank God those days are over.
5. Ronald McDonald
Ronald McDonald is a McDonald’s mascot. He is one of those less scary clowns. However, the reason why this clown is scary lies in his fame. He is so famous among children that he travels with his own personal bodyguards. Those bodyguards are trained to keep the children off Ronald McDonald when they get a little wild. They are trained to pinch kids and even to stamp on their feet. This is one VIP or better say very important clown no kid should mess with.
6. Krusty The Clown
This crazy clown is one of the characters from a famous cartoon serried The Simpsons. Kids in Springfield love this green-haired clown for his width and humorous acts, however this cartoon clown has a wild side to his persona. Krusty is addicted to gambling, cigarettes, alcohol, Percodan, Pepto-Bismol, and Xanax. He’s one bad clown. He’s the worst person for your kids too look up to. Beware of Krusties charm.
