Do you believe in aliens? If not this article will assure you that there are other forms of life out there. Many, who have seen the famous TV series the X-files, probably like those kinds of stories. Others might be interested in reading how some people got abducted simply out of curiosity. In any case these are some pretty interesting stories about people who had the encounter with extraterrestrial forms of life. Take a look!

1. The First Widely Reported Abduction in the US

On September 19–20, 1961, Betty and Barney Hill (allegedly) got abducted by aliens. They claimed that they spotted a cigar-shaped flying object that seemed to be coming towards them. They went out of their car to take a look with their binoculars. Through the space craft windows, they have (allegedly) seen some forms of life that didn’t appear to be human. They kept driving and lost track of two hours since the close encounter. They had no recollection of the past two hours. And one more detail their watches stopped at the same time. After some time they went to see a psychotherapist who put them under hypnosis. Dr Benjamin Simon concluded that Barney’s memories were a fantasy driven by nightmares Betty had been having. The Hills rejected this hypothesis and firmly concluded that they had indeed been abducted by aliens. Barney died in 1969. Betty Hill claimed UFO sightings later in life.

2. The Allagash Waterway Abduction

The incident happened on August 20, 1976 when four men went on a camping trip near Allagash, Maine. The group consisted of twin brothers Jack and Jim Weiner, their friend Chuck Rak and their guide, Charlie Foltz.

The first day went by without incident. But on their second night, they noticed a bright light not far from their campsite. First they thought that it was a helicopter but later noticed a strange quality of light it radiated. Suddenly, the object imploded and disappeared. The following day went by without incident. On August 20 they set camp on the Shore of Eagle Lake. They built a campfire which they expected to burn for several hours to be used as a beacon for their campsite while out on the lake. Then they headed out in a canoe.

After a short time, Rak noticed the bright light in the distance above the tree line. He called the others’ attention to it. They watched the object and noticed it appeared to be much larger this time and made no sound. Foltz grabbed a flashlight and began flashing an SOS.

Suddenly, a bright beam of light shot out from the bottom of the craft and it quickly made its way towards the men. All men, minus Rak, began to paddle furiously back towards shore. Rak seemed entranced by the object as it closed in on them. Suddenly, the light enveloped the canoe and the four men.

The next thing the men knew, they were back on shore at their campsite. They stood at the edge of the water and stared blankly at the craft, which was hovering no more than a few dozen feet from them. After watching for several minutes, the craft suddenly imploded, as it had done two nights previous, and reappeared over the treetops on the other side of the lake. It then shot upwards into the sky.

3. Father and Son Made Contact

In March of 1988, John Salter Jr. and his son John III were driving on Route 61. All of a sudden they found themselves traveling in the opposite direction with no memory of the past hour. As they continued their trip they were stunned to see a large UFO. They recall seeing child-like aliens and a taller, half-human alien who was their leader. They were given a thorough medical exam but described feeling “protected” by the alien life forms.

4. Two families abducted in the same night

Australian Kelly Cahill and her family were driving home on August of 1993 when they saw a UFO. Kelly claimed to have seen human-like figures in the windows of the craft. The family got blinded by a bright light all around their car. Kelly said that she felt relaxed in the light. When the family regained awareness, they were still on the road towards home. However, they could not account for the past hour. Kelly discovered a strange mark near her navel and in next few weeks she felt unwell and went to the hospital for a uterine infection. She also saw another car on the side of the road, Later, the family that had been in that car backed up her story and said that they, too, had seen the aliens and had gone through a same experience.
