Yan La Pape was born and raised in Paris. Yann’s first foray into the artistic was as a musician. During his late teens and early twenties, he spent 10 years in the south west of France playing trumpet and flute in various funk and latin jazz bands. During this time of musical exploration, YLP discovered photography and it quickly became his new passion. Aside his commercial work, YLP is curently working on a personal project of portraits and land-scapes.
