These animals are strangely colored. Some have to thank their popularity to their wacky owners while others must give some credit to the creativity of Mother Nature. These incredible looking animals are unique thanks to their unique appearance. Take a look!


Have you ever heard of an orange alligator? That’s right. This orange alligator was spotted by a 70-year old grandmother from Venice. It was thought to be an albino animal but it is more likely that it is orange due to some environmental factors.


This animal doesn’t belong to a new species of bears. This purple bear is in fact a polar bear that had a strange skin condition that was treated by the zoo veterinarians. However, due to the treatment the polar bear turned purple.


Mwanza flat-headed agama is a red-blue lizard that is increasingly becoming a popular pet. It likes to eat locusts, crickets and worms.


Wim Delvoye has been tattooing pigs since 1990’s. Why he does this isn’t clear it might be because he wants to keep his masterpieces after pigs die. He removes the pigs’ skins and prepares exhibitions.


The flamingo tongue snail aka cyphoma gibbosumn is a snail that lives on the corals in the Caribbean. Looks like something out of a cartoon.
